Daily life and 365

After a not so happy xmastime we are ready to pick up our daily life again. This year had a good start with an (almost) new car, a birthday and (at least) 1 photo a day.

Today i finished the first week... i made the template myself to give it enough space for photo and journaling. I will put it on 4shared later this week...

...at 13 years joy, struggle and happiness. Almost my birthday...alone again lol(not). My daughter was very upset that i was not in for celebrating my birthday, wish those  happier-then-happy and merrier-then-merry decemberdays were over already.

I finally finished the startpages of our memorybook. I used Nicole Youngs Antiquated Dreams for it.

I was struggling with the colors and blendings last week for hours. Today i had them finished in no time. There was a challenge at DSP where you had to had a number as title... i think i just needed a kick in the butt to get them done. Its a 24hour challenge so maybe i DO need some pressure to get something done.......

Today i bought a beautiful kit from my favorite designer. Antiquated dreams by Nicole young. I still have tons of adorable snapshots so my 2008/2009 photobook will finally progress. These are my adorable nieces... how cute can it get :)

Funny day at work today, got stuck in traffic because of Sinterklaas and hit my own thumb when my colleague aproached me when i was grinding medication :{

On my way down (...or up) to finish my lo for the contest of Wacom i couldnt resist to scrap a lullaby i wrote for my daughter when she was young, its her at the age of 3, cute little dreamy thing (L). Backgroundpapers and clouds are from the Storybook Dreams Page Kit,Created by Nicole Young.

To get some practise i started to put my old pictures on paislees pressplateNo25. I really enjoyed it... I started with 2005 (a and b because the photo's really didnt fit on 1 page :P

 At paislee press (one of my absolute fav designers) i found out about the big project 365. I ended up at DesignersDigitals  to find out that they were already (almost) finished. Too bad... why am i always running late lol  Anyway... i think the idea is fantastic. A photo a day... maybe i will start my own Project 365. First the template (i spend all afternoon thinking, drawing, erasing and scratching my head) This is my first sketch for the template...

I will probably change it a dozen of times... if i start at January 1 i still have some time to give it some good thoughts.

My first scrapbookpages... I never was into digital scrapbooking, thought it was something for bored housewives. The idea of my precious photographs on a pink page stuffed with pink, little, cute(puke) flowers and ribbons did not make me happy at all. One day a friend asked me to scrap a few pages for him as a gift for his wife...

 I ended up at Godigitalscrapbooking dot com and was surprised by the beautiful lay-outs. I signed in and before i realised it i was hooked. In the last few weeks i made my first scrapbookpages... not good enough to get printed yet but i'm on my way.
